Photography Services Agreement
This agreement is between Priyanka Patel Photography (the Photographer, based in Calgary, AB) and the client named above (the Client).
The Photographer agrees to provide photography services for a — session on — (— session). Session duration: —.
The total fee is — CAD + GST. A non-refundable deposit of — CAD + GST is due at the time of booking to secure the date. The remaining balance is due one week before the session date.
Edited photographs will be delivered via private online gallery within the agreed timeline.
The deposit is non-refundable. The Client may reschedule with sufficient notice as outlined at booking. Cancellation within the notice period will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
The Photographer retains copyright of all images produced. The Client is granted a personal, non-commercial licence to print and share the delivered photographs for personal use. Images may not be sold, submitted to stock agencies, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. The Photographer may use images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing prior to the session.
The Photographer will make every effort to deliver high-quality photographs. In the unlikely event that images are lost or damaged due to equipment failure or circumstances beyond the Photographer's control, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid. The Photographer is not liable for undelivered images due to the Client's failure to cooperate or circumstances outside the Photographer's reasonable control.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

For weddings, I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (May–October). For lifestyle sessions, 2–4 weeks notice is usually sufficient.
Wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks, with a first-look gallery available for viewing within 1 week. Lifestyle and engagement sessions are ready within 3 weeks. All photos are fully edited and delivered through a private online gallery where you can download high-resolution files.

Yes! You receive full print and distribution rights with your gallery.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable as it reserves your date exclusively. However, if you need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we can work together to find a new date based on availability.

For outdoor sessions, we'll monitor the forecast and reschedule if needed. A little light rain or snow or overcast skies can actually create beautiful, moody photos.
